Telangana leaders are deceiving youth in the name employment, says Sailajanath

Participating in the debate on the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013, Minister for Legislative Affairs Dr S Sailajanath said that the leaders of Telangana are deceiving the youth and students by claiming lakhs of job opportunities would come by formation of separate Telangana State.

False claim

Sailajanath said that Telangana leaders are making false claim that there were 1.5 lakh employees form Seemandhra region working in violation of six point formula and in fact there were only 14,794 and 9,000 of whom were sent back. He said that they are proving the students and employees and when their game plan brought to light, changed to 'self-rule', he said.

Opposes the Bill

Sailajanath said that he was opposing the draft bill as it was in against the federal spirit and the Centre's own principle of forming States on linguistic basis. He added that he was opposing it for the self-pride of Telugu people.

Centre not following laid down procedures

Describing the bill as a biased one, he said that the Bill in principle against Article 371 (D) and it did not follow the laid down principles and procedures.

Committee to be constituted

Sailajanath in his speech alleged the propaganda of TRS on the sacrifices of youth for the cause of Telangana said that a committee be constituted to go into the issue in both the regions of Telangana and Seemandhra.
