Telangana Ministers meet Governor, complains on Chief Minister

In the back drop of the Chef Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy who stripped the portfolio of D Sridhar Babu and entrusting it to Dr S Sailajanath Minister for Primary Education on Wednesday a group of Ministers of Telangana met the Governor and complained. They termed the decision of the Chief Minister as undemocratic one and an insult to the people of Telangana. They said it was done as part of conspiracy at a time when the draft Bill to come up for a debate. Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy said that he would complain on this to the party high command. Those who met the governor include Sridhar Babu, Ponnala Lakshmiah and Sudarshan. It may be recalled here that Sridhar Babu made it clear that he would not accept the new portfolio.
Meanwhile a bandh is being observed in Karimnagar district on Wednesday in protest against the action of the Chief Minister. Shops, business establishments and educational institutions remained closed while APSRTC services were off the road. Congress workers and cadre took out protest rallies, burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister.
