Telangana Bill likely be tabled in Lok Sabha on February 13

AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 that was initially planned to be placed in Rajya Sabha was deferred following the advice of Legal Affairs Ministry. The Ministry stated that it could not be placed as the Bill involved financial matters. With this, it is learnt that the Bill will be placed in Lok Sabha on February 13.
Congress Core Committee that will be meeting on Tuesday at 4pm will decide whether the Bill is involving financial matters or not said Rajiv Shukla.
Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader LK Advani reportedly said that in the given circumstance, the party is not in a position give support to the Bill if placed in the Parliament. It is learnt that Advani reportedly told a TDP delegation that met him on seeking the party's support.
BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu said that Congress party is playing dramas and questioned why it did initiate suspension on those six rebel MPs and added that the present action is a part of the play they are playing. Venkaiah Naidu reiterated once again that the party is in favour of formation of Telangana State but the BJP demands that justice should be done to the people of Seemandhra.
