TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao meets Prime Minister

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhara Rao on Tuesday called on the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi and sought amendments in the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013.
Chandrasekhara Rao led a 40 member's delegation to the Prime Minister including party MLAs, MPs and senior leaders. He submitted a 5 page memorandum to him. Provisions on Governor's control on law and order in the common capital, distribution of employees and pensioners based on their origin instead of population based keeping the headquarters of the regulatory body on sharing the river waters of Krishna in Hyderabad are some among the others.
Speaking to media after his meeting, the TRS president expressed happiness over the meeting with the Prime Minster assured him that the Bill would be tabled in the current Parliament session as the Government was committed for formation of Telangana State, he said. TRS leaders met the Union Minister Jairam Ramesh, a member of Group of Minsters (GOM) appointed for the cause of Telangana who too assured the same that was by the Prime Minster. They too called on Union Minister Vayalar Ravi.
Plans to stage protest
The TRS leaders planned to stage counter protest on Wednesday at a venue to be finalized in counter to the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy at Shakti Sthal demanding the State united.
