‘We have not committed for total loan waiver’, says Agricultural Minister

The Minister for Agriculture Patti Pulla Rao said that TDP has not told of total loan waiver but only crop loan waiver.
Pattipati Pulla Rao said that the Kotaiah committee will submit a report after receipt of a letter from RBI on reschedule of loans. He said that Telangana government could extend loan waiver only due to surplus budget. Since, Andhra Pradesh is having deficit budget, one year moratorium and loan re-schedule for two year, said the Agricultural Minister.
Pulla Rao said that 500 acres land is being made ready for establishing of an Agricultural university at Guntur and the government has sought funds from the Centre. He said that the Union Minister for Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh assured the government of all possible help.
