TDP feels the wave in its favour
May 14, 2014 - Hyderabad
With the final judgement of the people coming within a day in the form of ballot, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is confident of forming the government with a majority in Seemandhra region.
In the back drop of good performance in Municipal elections and ZPTC and MPTC elections of the party, TDP sees a wave in its favour on Friday's peoples' judgement. TDP MP K Ramamohana Rao said that the 'TDP has beaten the expectations and stood ahead of its rivals in the two elections. This is sure to be a precursor to the party's performance in the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls'. He said that the voters trusted the party's promises on loan waiver and BC declaration among others in exercising their franchise.
Ramamohana Rao said that the party's manifesto coupled with the alliance with BJP and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan would go a long way in securing comfortable leads to the party after counting of general elections was completed. He said that the people feels that the votes cast to YSRCP would indirectly benefit the Congress and that helped the TDP, he said.
