TDP express doubts on the Congress' commitment on Telangana Bill

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) expressed its doubt over the commitment of Congress party in ensuring the passage of the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013. (Telangana Bill)

TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu cautioned the party leaders against the motive of the Congress in the back drop of the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kamalanath who said that the government sought legal views yet again on the issue. He reportedly told the Business Advisory Meeting (BAC) that it awaits legal advice for introducing the Bill in Parliament. He questioned the need for reference to legal opinion when it was cleared by the Law Ministry and reached the Government after the President's consent where is the need for legal opinion again, he questioned. Naidu doubted the Congress led UPA government's attempt to rush it without giving scope for debate reflected the non-seriousness of it's approach.

It may be recalled here that TDP president Chandrababu Naidu wants equal justice for both the regions and was mounting pressure on the national leaders in this direction.
