TDP chief confident of winning 120-130 Assembly and 20-22 MP seats

Telugu Desam Party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday claimed that the party would win in between 120-130 Assembly and 20-22 Lok Sabha seats in Seemandhra in the just concluded elections.

In an assessment made over the elections, it said that TDP will win majority of seats in all districts except in Kadapa and Nellore in spite of YSCRP's efforts to win with money and liquor flow. Chandrababu Naidu said that the YSRCP GAME PLAN to restrict the polling percentage by terrorising the voters and polling officials did not materialise and even it prompted for heavy turnout. He added that the rank and cadre of YSRCP tried to create a panic situation in the elections by attacking rival party activists, media, contestants, police with an intention to keep the voters at bay.

Jana Sena chief calls on Naidu

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Thursday called on the TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the latter's residence and discussed the poll prospects for the both combine. Pawan had lunch with Naidu and his family members. He was learnt to have discussed about the seats the TDP-BJP alliance likely to get.

Chandrababu Naidu for US

The TDP president stated that he was going on a vacation for four-five days to the US and other countries on Thursday night along with his family members for rest. He said that he will be coming back to the State either on May 12 or 13.
