State Government transfers 29 IPS officers


February 10, 2014 - Hyderabad

The State Government on Monday transferred 29 IPS officers.

Three senior IPS officers were promoted as Additional Director General of Police. AB Venkateswara Rao who will head the Octopus, Dwaraka Tirumala Rao who will be Chairman of State Police Recruitment Board and Umesh Sharraf has been promoted and retained in the Police Personnel Department.

  • PVS Ramakrishna - DIG CID
  • P Muniswamy - DIG Octopus,
  • CVSK Raju - Additional Director (ACB)
  • M Ramesh - Assistant IG Law and Order
  • Somesh - SP Medak,
  • VC Sajjanar - IG (SIB)
  • D Suryaprakash Rao,- Director Enforcement (P&E)
  • BV Ramana Kumar -DIG CID,
  • V Vijay Kumar - SP East Godavari
  • K Srinivas Reddy, Special Secretary (Home)
