Stage set for re-conduct of PGMET 2014 on April 27

Following the cancellation of PGMET test by the Government afer the paper leak scam, Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences has made all required arrangements for the re-conduct of Medical Post Graduate Entrance Test for the academic year 2014-15.

As many as 15,194 applicants have been qualified to take up the test with an addition of 549 candidates who got eligibility to write the test. University authorities said that candidates can down load their hall tickets from Monday onwards.

NTR University of Health Sciences vice-chancellor T Raviraju on Monday held a review meeting with superintendents. He said that the question papers and OMR sheets are being transported to the examination centres with the help of armed forces. The entrance test will be held from 10am to 1m on April 27 and the results will be announced in the first week of May.

The entrance test will be conducted in 24 centres in eight cities. The candidates will be allowed to enter into the examination centre after a thorough check up and cell jammers are being installed to arrest hi-fi coping. He said that no electronic gadgets will be allowed under any circumstances.

It may be recalled here that the PGMET written test was cancelled by the Governor following CID came to the conclusion of the scam. The test was conducted on March 2 and the results were declared on March 16.
