Sivaramakrishnan Committee met the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday. The committee made it clear that it favors in the development of 13 cities instead of projection of one super city.
After two hours long discussions it had with Chandrababu Naidu, the Chairman of the Committee KC Sivaramakrishnan and committee member Aromar Ravi said that the former had agreed with their views.

At best, it will give options and it was for the State Government to take a final decision in consultation with the Centre. They said that the panel would pitch for a model of scattered development and the administrative capital could be a place confined to two or three critical functions of running the affairs of the State.
Sivaramakrishnan said that he had suggested the Chief Minister developing Srikalahasti-Nadikudi railway line stretch, Visakhapatnam-Chennai corridor and the Ananthapur-Kurnool-Chitoor belt as Rayalaseema are besides the middle region of Coastal Andhra.
