Seemandhra Union Ministers demand nine amendments to AP State Reorganization Bill

In the Group of Minsters (GoM) meeting held on Wednesday evening, eight Seemandhra Union Ministers demanded nine amendments suggested by them in the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 before it placed in Parliament.
The GoM have invited the Ministers to have one to one discussions before making it a final Bill. It is said that they reportedly demanded the Centre to consider Hyderabad Union Territory status instead of making it a common capital for ten years. They wanted amendments in sharing of revenue accruing form Hyderabad in the ratio of 40:60 for Telangana and Seemandhra region and restriction on extending admission facilities to the students of Seemandhra region for a limited period should be done away.
