Seemandhra Ministers plans for en masse resignations

Taken aback with the Delhi developments on Thursday, a group of Seemandhra Ministers are mulling en masse resignations along with the Chief Minister in the coming three or four days.

The one and the final view of the majority of the Seemandhra Minister who held an emergency meeting with the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his camp office on Thursday appears to have come to a decision in this direction. Ministers numbering ten and MLAs of more than a dozen have come to an unanimous decision of putting their papers along with the Chief Minister.

However, sources close to him said that since the Governor who is away in the headquarters and a final call will be only after he returns to the city on Saturday.

Chief Minister speaking to press said that a decision would be taken after consultations with Seemandhra MPs on the issue and added that resignation is one option among other available options.

Deeply perturbed over the Delhi incidents, three ruling Congress MLAs have put up their papers. The MLAs - Adala Prabhakar Reddy, M Sridhara Krishna Reddy and Bandaru Satyananda Rao have resided from the primary membership of the Congress party. They have sent the papers to AICC president Sonia Gandhi and PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana.
