Satish Kumar Reddy assumes charges as Council Deputy Chairman

SV Satish Kumar Reddy of TDP has become the first Deputy Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council after his unanimous election on Thursday. Chairman A Chakrapani made an announcement of his unanimous election.

Satish Reddy was elected to the Legislative Council in 2011 and hailed from a political family in Pulivendula constituency in Kadapa and is a third generation political leader from the family and excellent public relations. He played his role as Opposition and ruling party members efficiently.

A 47 year old Satish Reddy started his political career as Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society Chairman in 1988 and later as mandal president in 1995 and contested in the Assembly elections from Pulivendula constituency four times as per the party’s directives before he was elected to the Legislative council.
