Jai Samaikyandhra Party contestant Sabbam Hari skips contest

Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha contestant from Jai Samaikyandhra Party for the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat Sabbam Hari announced his quitting from the contest. Sabbam Hari said that he took the decision to opt out of the contest with a view not to divide the votes. While announcing his decision to quit from contest, Sabbam Hari said that there was a secret agenda by the YSR Congress Party in fielding its honorary president YS Vijayamma from Visakhapatnam seat. The former MP said that it would have a dangerous effect on the City than the bifurcation of the State.

Sabbam Hari said the decision of the Supreme Court in refusing to grant stay on the division process has enough indications that it is not possible to stop the bifurcation of the State. He expressed the hope of NDA forming government at the Centre and said it is good for the State to have a TDP-BJP alliance.

Reacting over the decision of Sabbam Hari, Amalapuram JSP candidate Harsha Kumar said that the comments made were Hari's personal view. Harsha Kumar said that he will continue to be in the fray and added that the Supreme Court's decision of Monday is not the final. Jai Samaikyandhra Party candidates from East Godavari are in still contesting the elections.

YSRCP fires on Hari

YSRCP spokesperson Vasireddy Padma lashed on Sabbam Hari after the later's comments. She said that Hari committed political suicide by skipping from the contest. The statements of Sabbam Hari on the victory of BJP candidate at Visakhapatnam comes as a violation of election of code. She questioned how he is supporting to TDP and BJP that supported the division of the State. She alleged that not only here in Visakhapatnam but candidates of JSP are skipping from elections to benefit TDP and BJP.
