Sabbam Hari seeks Sushma support for united Andhra State
January 19, 2014 - Visakhapatnam
Anakapalli MP Sabbam Hari speaking to press on Sunday in Visakhapatnam said that all the six MPs who moved a no-trust motion against the UPA government will meet the Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj to not to support the Telangana bill in the present Lok Sabha sessions.
He welcomed the statement of BJP national president Rajnath Singh stating that the Congress in a hurry drafted the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 to gain political mileage without addressing the problems of Seemandhra and widening the gap between the people of Seemandhra and Telangana.
Sabbam Hari said that YSRCP had a tacit understanding with the Congress in support of Telangana. He said that he had offered to quit the Lok Sabha membership two or three times but Jagan Mohan Reddy refrained him to do so.
On the information of Kiran Kumar Reddy seeking extension of deadline set up by the President, Sabbam Hari said that it means that there is no scope for the Bill to get clearance in Parliament. As it is Congress lacks desired numbers to get through. BJP is dictating reservations to accept the Bill in the present form before. It all shows that formation of Telangana State before the general elections is very remote', said Sabbam Hari.
