Kakatiya Techno School derecognized’, says RJD Mastanaiah

The Educational Regional Joint Director Mastanaiah speaking to media on Monday said that the Government has de-recognized the Kakatiya Techno School.

Earlier, the Commissioner of School Education, M. Jagadishwar, on Thursday cancelled the recognition of Kakatiya Techno School and send the students to other schools. The DEO was directed by the government to inquire whether the school has all permissions.

It may be recalled here that the death toll in the Medak Nanded passenger-Kakatiya Techno school bus tragedy that occurred on July 24 rose to 18. The Nanded passenger train on Thursday morning hit Kakatiya Techno School bus at an unmanned level crossing. In the accident 14 students, driver and helper were died on the spot and another 15 children were injured at Masaipeta in Chegunta mandal of Medak district as also driver and a helper. The injured students were first rushed to Balaji and RR Hospitals in Kompally and later shifted to Yashoda hospital in Secunderabad for better medicare. A child Tarun on Monday died while undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospitals. The condition of two more are still said to be critical.
