Police cracks Esther Anuhya murder case with the detention of a habitual criminal

Mumbai Special Investigation Team (SIT) that is probing the murder of TCS techie Esther Anuhya has cracked the mystery after one and half month with the detention of a prime suspect.

The police, according to sources, have detained a habitual criminal from Nashik. The SIT officials team has matched the suspect to the person seen walking with her in the CCTV footage from LTT on January 5 when was arrived from Andhra Pradesh.

According to sources, Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria is likely to address the media and give more information in the case including that of the person in detention.

It may be recalled here that Singavarapu Esther Anuhya, a software engineer working for TCS was found murdered in Mumbai. She took Visakhapatnam-Mumbai train in Vijayawada on January 4 and reached Mumbai on the next day but could not reach the hostel.
