Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan gives slip to Lok Satta chief Jayaprakash Narayan
April 23, 2014 - Hyderabad
A day after Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan shared the dais with Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu and BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at Lal Bahadur Stadium, Chandrababu Naidu called on film actor Pawan Kalyan requesting his support.
After the meet, Pawan Kalyan told the media that he would campaign for NDA candidates in both Telangana and Seemandhra regions. Pawan Kalyan went back on his words of campaigning for Dr. Jayaprakash Narayana. Pawan Kalyan said he will campaign for TDP candidate for Malkajgiri Lok Sabha Ch. Malla Reddy. It may be recalled that Jana Sena founder earlier said that he did not contest for Malkajgiri for the victory of Dr.Jayaprakash Narayana and also announced that he would campaign for Lok Satta.
This may be a bad news for Lok Satta party chief who aspired the support of Pawan Kalyan as he facing rivals like sitting Congress MP Sarve Satyanarayana, M Hanumantha Rao, YSRCP candidate and former DGP V Dinesh Reddy.
Reacting over the decision of Jana Sena founder, Dr Jayaprakash Narayan said 'Pawan is a sincere and guileless person who is burning with a desire for the development of Telugu people and the country. I can understand his compulsions and pressures'.
Modi wanted TDP to utilise Pawan Kalyan
Sources said that after the meeting at LB Stadium, Narendra Modi is reported said to the TDP president to utilize the services of Pawan Kalyan for the BJP-TDP alliance across the two regions that drove the TDP president to meet the actor at his residence.
