PGMET scam accused sent to judicial remand

Nine medical students accused in the Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (PGMET) scam were remanded to 14 day judicial custody by the Court. It is known that the accused were arrested by oficials of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) in Hyderabad.
The accused K Muneeswar Reddy, D Sainath, M Venkatesa Anandam, N Jagadeesh, Ch Gurivi Reddy, Chaluvadi Bheemeswara Rao, B Srinivas, D Sravani and B Venkateswara Rao were produced before the court today. Leaving nothing to chance, the CID officials took all he precautions of shifting the accused to prison. It may be recalled here that NTR University of Health Sciences officials have lodged a complaint in a local police station about the alleged scam and the case was transferred to Hyderabad.
