PCC president rules out of any alliance in Municipal elections

In the back drop of the State Chief Election Commission had announced the civic polls scheduled on March 30 much heat is generated for the political parties for facing them at a time the State has been bifurcated.

Pradesh Congress Committee president Botcha Satyanarayana on Monday said that the Congress party will not have any alliance with any party in the elections. He said that they would contest in all the seats.

Speaking at a press conference, Botcha said that the District Congress Committee will select the candidates under the supervision of PCC. They were told to identify the right candidate by select and elect policy.

DCC presidents and other senior leaders will identify the candidates in all the municipalities and district in-charges will consult the local leaders and shortlist them, he said.
