Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi participating in the debate on AP State Reorganization Bill in the Assembly said that no political party is speaking about the concerns of minorities in the bill.
The MIM leader lamented that the view of the Muslims were not ascertained during the merger of Hyderabad State with Andhra resulting in severe hardships to the community in the form of loss in education, employment and others. He expressed apprehension on the scope of increase of Sangh Parivar after bifurcation of the State. MIM opposed the bifurcation since a consensus remained elusive. He added that MIM accepted the decision imposed on the people as a fait accompli, he said.
