- PF accounts for two States
HYDRABAD: The State Government has issued orders for opening of new heads of pension account for the successor States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the apportionment of pension liability. The order said that new sub-heads would be opened to the two categories of pensions. Category I for all types of service pensioners who retire upto June 1, 2014 for pre-bifurcation service pension to be distributed between the two successor States in the ratio of 58.32:41.68. The category II comprises post bifurcation pension will be paid for the service rendered in the respective successor States.
- MIM calls for cordial relations
HYDERABAD: MIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi has called for maintaining cordial relations with all countries including Pakistan. He said that the invitation to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the swearing in ceremony of Narendra Modi, he said that he was all for peaceful relationship with all the neighbours. 'No other nation is surrounded by so many countries as India', said Owaisi.
- TRS government will have minimum IAS and IPS staff
HYDERABAD: TRS chief Chandrasekhara Rao said that the new government in Telangana State will have a minimum IAS and IPS officers. He said that there will be 10 to 15 officers in each stream in both governments for nearly 15 days as notification of guidelines for distribution of all-India service officers is expected to be delayed. The State government had no say in the distribution of the officers, he said, recalling his conversation with Chief Secretary P.K. Mohanty before coming to the meeting.
- No roaming charges in post bifurcation
HYDERABAD: Nearly six crore cellular phone users in the Andhra Pradesh Telecom Circle need not pay roaming charges. BSNL AP Circle General Manager V Srinivasan said that roaming comes into effect only when a subscriber goes out of what is defined as the licensed Service Area and not the State. Circle Business Head-Mobility of Tata Docomo Abhijit Kishore said that it was the license that mattered and there would be no difference in the perspective of handling the company's subscribers. Regional Business Head of Aircel said that they would strictly go by the definition of a circle.
- Injured student takes EAMCET with the help of scribe
VIJAYAWADA: Munavar Hussain, an aspirant of EAMCET who suffered a fracture in his hand took the examination with the help of a scribe. The student had suffered a fracture in his right hand and was unable to take test The Student Federation of India district president has met the EAMCET coordinator and sought permission for arranging a s scribe for Hussain. The authorities after verifying the medical certificate allowed a Class VIII student to write the test for Husain.
- 'We will not allow Seemandhra employees to work', says TRS chief
HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Telangana State Chief Minister designate K Chandrasekhara Rao said that they will not allow employees who get promotions in violation of GO 610 in Telangana State. He said that they will not allow the Seemandhra employees to work in the State.

HYDERABD: EAMCET convener Ramana Rao said that the EAMCET 2014 went on peacefully. 94.37 per centage of attendance were recorded for Engineering stream while 94.27 per centage was recorded for Medical stream he said. The key will be released on Saturday and the final results on June 9.

- SC Railway announces 18 special train services
HYDERABAD: To clear the summer rush, South Central Railway announced introduction of 18 special train services. Eight special trains will run between Secunderabad-Vijayawada and another eight from Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam. Special train will leave Secunderabad on June 6,10,20, 27 will leave Secunderabad for Vijayawada. On June 5, 12,1 9 the special train will leave Vijayawada to Secunderabad. Another service will leave Secunderabad on June 6 13 20 27 for Visakhapatnam and in return the train will leave Visakhapatnam on 7, 14, 21, 28 for Secunderabad.
