  • TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu congratulates Narendra Modi
    TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Friday congratulated the BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi over stupendous victory of NDA in the current general elections. He congratulated Modi for crushing down the 'corrupt and tyrannical rule' of the Congress and wished that he would go on to lead the country to become a super power', said Naidu.
  • TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao congratulates Naidu
    TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao on Friday congratulated Nara Chandrababu Naidu for his victory in the elections.
  • Official review security to Naidu and KCR
    Official on Friday reviewed the security arrangement to the TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu and TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao. Currently Naidu is enjoying Z-Plus security and also NSG commandos. Officials are providing Z plus security to KCR who is now enjoying Z category security.

  • Counting begins for Assembly and Lok Sabha
    Counting began for 175 Assembly constituencies are in Seemandhra, 119 Assembly constituencies in Telangana and for 17 Lok Sabha and 25 in Seemandhra .
  • First result will be likely from Charminar constituency
    The first Assembly result is expected to be announced from Charminar constituency at around 10am where the counting will be completed in 13 rounds. The YSRCP candidate T Srinivasa Rao, MIM candidate and sitting MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Khadri, MBT candidate Majid Ahmed Khan, Congress candidate K Venkatesh and TDP candidate MA Basit are in the fray along with others.
  • Counting begins in 168 centres in the State
    The counting process for the 16th general elections is being taken up in 168 centres in Andhra Pradesh for 42 Lok Sabha for which 598 candidates are in fray and for Assembly 294 seats, 3910 candidates are in the fray. The final results will be available by 1pm according to sources.
  • First postal ballots will be taken up for counting
    State Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal said that the postal ballots will take up for counting and EMV process will be taken. Heavy security cover has been posted at the counting centres.
