  • What survey says?
    CNN IBN/CSDS survey says that in Telangana TRS will win 10 seats, Congress 4 and BJP+TDP will get 3 seats and in Seemandhra (Andhra Pradesh) region. YSRCP would be getting close to 11-15 seats.

    TIMES Now-ORG survey says that in Telangana BJP+TDP combine will get 2 seats, Congress 3-5, TRS 8-10 and left parties 2 seats. In Seemandhra BJP+TDP combine to get 15-20 seats while YSRCP to get 5-8 seats.
  • YSRCP will get 150 Assembly and 25 MP seats', says Sharmila
    LOS ANGLES: YSRCP leader YS Sharmila speaking to a local channel on Monday said that YSRCP would will 150 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats.
    Sharmila said that she is the arrow released by Jagan Mohan Reddy. It may be recalled that she under took 'Maro Praja Prasthanam' covering 3112 kms in 230 days. She began her Maro Praja Prasthanam from Idupulapaya on October 18, 2012 and concluded at Ichapuram in Srikakulam district. She toured in 14 districts in 116 Assembly constitu4encies in 9 Corporations , 45 municipalities and 195 mandals.
  • YSRCP won by lottery in Hindupur wards
    ANATHAPUR: in Hindupur ward 6 and 38, both TDP and YSRCP candidates got equal votes and in the process of lottery, YSRCP bagged victory. TDP won in Puttaparthi, Kalyanduram, Dharmavaram, Anathapur, Pamidi.
  • YSRCP writes to EC on re-poll
    HYDERABAD: The YSRCP leader Adinarayana Reddy in a letter to the Returning Officer of Jammalamadugu urged not to conduct re-polling in a few booths and wanted a written information of scrutiny of the presiding officer diary, remarks of sectoring officer, micro observer and returning officer on May 7 and 8 during election. 'The Election Commission of India ordered re-polling for 80, 81 and 82 of Devagudi village in the 250 Jammalamadugu Assembly and 38-Kadapa Parliament seat. The re-polling is highly arbitrary and nothing but abusing the process of elections. I submit that there was no untoward incident that took place in the above polling booths, and no complaints were mooted by the polling officer, sector officer, micro observer and polling agents.'
  • Results in 48 Municipalities in Telangana announced
    The results in 48 Municipalities in Telangana have been announced and Congress bagged 19, TRS in 7, Congress in 19 and TDP in 3 municipalities. While the results in 18 undecided.
  • TDP bags 61 in Seemandhra
    TDP bagged 61 Municipalities in Seemandhra while YSRCP bagged 21 Municipalities in the results announced so far. TDP registered victory in Anantapur, Chittoor and Rajahmundry corporations while YSRCP in Kadapa and Nellore corporations.

    GUNTUR: TDP registered victory in 11 municipalities in Guntur out of 12 and the YSRCP registered its victory in the lone Tadepalli municipality.

    VIJAYAWADA: TDP bagged 5 municipalities in Pedana, Tirupur, Nandigama and Vyuur Masulipatnam, while YSRC in 3 municipalities in Krishna district. YSRCP bagged in Gudivada, Nuzivid and Jaggayyapeta.

    The Municipalities that YSRCP bagged so far are Allagadda in Kurnool, Amadalavalasa and Ichapuram in Srikakulam,; Yerraguntla in YSR Kadapa district, Gollapraolu in East Godavari. The Municipalities that the party won are Chiralam Giddalur, Adoni, Nandikotkur, Allagadda, Atmakur, Gudur, Yerranguntla, Pulivendula, Rayachoti, Proddutur, Ichapuram, Amadalavalasa, Gollarolu, Chilakaluripet, Bobbili, Jaggayyapet,Nuzvid, Punganur, Palamaneru.
  • TDP wins in Chittoor and Rajahmundry
    TDP created a record by winning in Chittoor and Rajahmundry Municipal Corporations. In Eluru Corporation, TDP bagged 15 divisions, YSRCP in 4 divisions. In Vijayawada TDP bagged in 14 divisions, YSRCP in 5 divisions. In Kadapa, YSRCP bagged in 22 divisions while two in TDP. In Anantapur, 14-TDP, 7 divisions for YSRCP .

  • TDP in forefront in Seemandhra while Congress in Telangana
    The counting of votes for municipalities and Corporations across the State is in the process. TDP is in the forefront in Seemandhra while Congress witness good progress in Telangana.
    The counsellors results in Andhra Pradesh are : TDP with 1247, YSRCP 762 and Congress with 53 while in Telangana – TDP with 153, Congress – 471 while TRS 272.
  • TDP wins in 61 municipalities in Seemandhra
    TDP won in 61 municipalities with the results announced at noon while YSRCP bagged in 21 Municipalities.
  • Telugu Desam in Andhra Pradesh and Congress in Telangana are leading in the Municipal Election results.
