- Intermediate is the basis for filling of seats under management quota', decides APSCHE
AP State Council for Higher Education has decided that the intermediate marks should be taken as a basis for filling of seats under management quota irrespective of ranks in EAMCET or JEE main ranks. In a special meeting held on Thursday recommended the State Government to make necessary changes.
- Prisoner escapes from hospital
WARANGAL: A prisoner escaped from police custody while being treated at MGM hospital in Warangal. The prisoner J Naresh was sentenced to undergo one year imprisonment in a dacoity case and was lodged in Warangal Central Prison. Following he attempted a suicide was admitted to MGM hospital for treatment. He escaped late in the night by breaking open the ventilator.
- Centre ratifies age relatxation for UPSC
HYDERABAD: The Centre on Thursday ratified the age relaxation set for the UPSC examination this year. Candidates from the general category will now entitled to six attempts till the maximum age limit of 32 years while SC/ST candidates will have unlimited attempts till the age of 37 and OBC candidates will get nine attempts till the age of 35 years.

- '3,017 unclaimed vehicles to be auctioned after three months', says police
HYDERABAD: The Cyberabad police have appealed to the people to claim the vehicles after proving their ownership or bid for them through auction. As many as 3017 vehicles were piled up and police said that they will wait for three months for the people to claim and if not responded will be auctioned.

HYDERABAD:School Education Commissioner M Jagadeeswar announced on Wednesday that the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted on March 16. He said that the candidates can appear for the test with the last downloaded hall tickets. Results will be announced on April 2. He said that nearly 4.5 lakh candidates will take up test, said Jagadeeswar.

- High Court directs to hold elections to five fishermen panchayats
The Andhra Pradesh High Court directed the State Election Commission to conduct elections to the five fishermen gram panchayats adjacent to Visakhapatnam. It directed to complete the process by April 15. The directions came from Justice Ramesh Ranganathan while allowing a writ petition filed by Y Appalakonda and nine others hailing from villages in Bheemunipatnam mandal.
