Mandali Buddha Prasad elected unanimously as the Deputy Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly

The Andhra Pradesh Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasad Rao on Monday announced the unanimous election of Mandali Buddha Prasad as Deputy Speaker. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Opposition party leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy along with other MLAs have conveyed their good wishes to the newly elected deputy Speaker.
Mandali Buddha Prasad was born on May 26, 1956 at Nagayalaka, Krishna district. He is born to Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao and Smt. Prabhavati Devi. He had his primary and school education at Avanigadda, Krishna district and was graduated from Osmania University.
Buddha Prasad was a three time MLA. He was elected in 1999, 2004 and 2014 from Avanigadda in Krishna district. He worked as Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries during 2007-09. He did a lot in the development of Krishna district in modernization of Krishna Delta, construction of Puligadda-Penumudi bridge and Puligadda-Vijayawada river bund road. He played a key role in the establishment of Krishna University at Masulipatnam. He played a major role in the movements for water supply to Krishna Delta for irrigation purpose.
