MIM decides to contest in civil polls in both regions

The Majlis-Ittehadul-Muslimeen (MIM) has decided to contest in the Municipal elections in both Telangana and Seemandhra regions.
At a meeting held at Darussalam that was presided over by Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi, the decision has been taken. MIM is keen in contesting where there is sizable Muslim population and is already working in places like Kurnool, Ananthapur, Kadapa, Guntur and Vijayawada.
Earlier on Thursday, MIM chief met the PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana and informed him of the decision to vacate the GHMC Mayor post. On the Deputy Mayor, it has to take a final call.
