'Legislators are doing injustice by denying debate', says BJP senior leader Venkaiah Naidu

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu said that MLAs by obstructing a debate on the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 are doing injustice to the people.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Venkaiah Naidu said that threadbare discussions on the Bill are required. He said that a debate would provide an opportunity to address the concerns of the people. Reiterating the stand of the BJP on the issue, he said that the Centre and the State have to address the concerns of the people.
AAP no alternative
Saying that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was not an alternative as it was not a national party and lacked pan-India presence. He said there are many other examples in the country that had similar or better debut in politics including NT Rama Rao of TDP and MG Ramachandran of AIADM.
On Prime Minister's criticism of Mod
On the criticism of Manmohan Singh on Narendra Modi, Venkaiah Naidu said that the emergence of Modi' would definitely prove disastrous to the Congress and felt that it would have been better had Singh explained qualities and qualification of Rahul Gandi to lead the country, he opined.
