Large scale migrations to TDP leaves its leaders in a state of worry over political prospects

Unconfirmed reports say that senior Eluru Congress MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao reportedly met the BJP national president Rajnath Singh in Delhi on Saturday and made his way in the direction. Meanwhile, Guntur Congress MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao on Saturday speaking to press announced in Tirupati that he would be joining TDP on March 31. Dokka Manikya Varaprasad who is close aide of Sambasiva Rao hinted of joining TDP saying that it is unfortunate that the Congress did not bother to stop Sambasiva Rao from leaving the party. He said that he would take a final call within a couple of days.
Large scale migrations to TDP keeps party leaders in fear
With many senior leaders from Congress party migrating to Telugu Desam Party, existing leaders of the party over since long worrying over their prospects. A section of the leaders in Seemandhra is doubtful whether their loyalty to the party will pay off in the form of tickets. Admission of leaders and switching loyalties from other parties in TDP may likely to adversely impact the prospects in the elections. At the same time denial of tickets to these may also keep the party in more uncomfortable position as there is every scope for them to work against the official nominee.
Senior leaders claim that switching over the loyalties are bound to carry the anti-incumbency factor at least to some measure that could affect the party’s prospects.
