Kiran Kumar Reddy's petition against division of State is listed for Friday

Former Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy filed a petition challenging the Centre's decision to divide the State of Andhra Pradesh thus creating Telangana State.
The matter was mentioned before the Supreme Court Chief Justice P Sathasivam who agreed to list it along with others. It will be taken up for hearing on Friday.
It may be recalled here that the apex court earlier on February and 17 challenging the petitions filed by BJP leader Raghurama Krishnam Raju, YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, Sarla Roopchand Karra, P Ravi Teja, M Gopalkrishna and others on the ground that it is still immature. But in the current situation, the Parliament has passed the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 that was given accent by the President of India and the Union Minister has given appointed day as 'June 2'.
