- Harish Rao and Mohd. Ali to take charge on Sunday
HYDERABAD: TRS MLA Harish Rao will take charge as Minister for Legislative Affairs at 11am on Sunday. He appealed the visitors coming to attend the function not to bring bouquets and instead deposit the amount to the Chief Minister fund. Mohd Ali will assume charge as Minister for Transport at 11.40am.
- NTR Museum to come up in a year', says Lokesh
HYDERABAD: Nara Lokesh after paying tributes to late NT Rama Rao said that a Museum will come up in a year on the name of NTR at Nimmakur in Krishna District. He said that it will be developed on the lines of Naravaripalle.
- RPO at Hyderabad will issue passports for applicants of both States
HYDERABAD: The Regional Passport Centre at Hyderabad will continue to issue passports to the applicants from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, as Hyderabad being the State capital for both the States. Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh also has a passport office serving the needs of five north coastal districts —West Godavari, East Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Prakasam. Applicants can continue to submit forms in any passport seva kendra in the two States.
- Telangana Chief Minister revokes suspension of two police cops
HYDERABAD: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has revoked the suspension orders on the constables. Srinivas Goud and Srisailam Mudiraj who were placed under suspension for raising 'Jai Telangana' slogans at an APNGO public meeting at LB stadium last year. Sources said that these two cops were being considered for civil sub-inspector promotions.
