HYDERABAD: The appointment of JV Ramudu as Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh has been cleared by the section panel of Union Public Service Commission. The panel that met in New Delhi on Monday cleared his name he will be in the post for two years.
4,000 tones of red sanders to be disposed
TIRUPATI: Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest B Muralikrishna has announced that 4,000 tonnes of red sanders would be disposed of in the first phase and the process of readying the stock would be completed in ten days.
Section 498A registered against cine actress Ramba
HYDERABAD: A dowry harassment case has been registered against cine actress Raba, her brother and parents at Banjara Hill Police Station. According to police, Ramba brother Srinivasarao got married with Pallavi in 1999 and amounts were paid to them as part of marriage agreement. She alleged that Ramba along with his brother and parents are harassing her for more dowry. She knocked the doors of the court and following directions, police registered a case and are investigating.
Rs.7640 crores of DWCRA loans will be waived
HYDERABAD: State Minister for Rural Development Kimidi Mrunalini said that 7.6 lakhs of DWCRA groups’ loans amounting to Rs.7640 crores would be waived. She said that the ministry is preparing budgets as follows: For SC/ST sub plan, Rs.1100 crores for SCs and Rs.230 crores for STs, Stree Nidhi Bank Rs.270 crores, Abhaya Hastam Rs.213 crores. For pension to 43 lakhs Rs. 3788 cores and National Family Security scheme Rs.21 crores, Aam Admi Bheema Yojana Rs.9.81 crores are mooted.
State Farmers wing Convener demands total loan waiver
YSRCP State farmers’ wing convener MVS Nagi Reddy on Tuesday demanded the Chief Minster Nara Chandrababu Naidu to waive all the loans as was announced at the time of polls. He said that Naidu saying that the State is under Rs.16,000 crore deficit budget now saying to waive Rs.35,000 crore loans. He said that he is attempting to deceive the farm community for one more time.
Chandrababu Naidu is creation confusion among farmers
HYDERABAD: APCC former president Botcha Satyanarayana said on Tuesday that the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is telling a word a day and creating confusion among farmers. He said that Rs.1lakh crores are required for implementing loan waiver, but Naidu is implementing with Rs.35,000 crores. He said that people will revolt against Chandrababu Naidu if he failed to implement loan waiver scheme.
AP Social Welfare Minister to lead an all-party delegation to Delhi
HYDERABAD: Minister for Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu said that an all-party delegation will be going to Delhi to meet the Union Minister Union Minister for HRD, Smruti Irani and Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Five members of a family commit suicide
ANANTAPUR: Five members of a family committed suicide at Guntakallu Housing Board. Railway employee Srinivasulu, daughter, son-in-law are residing in the Housing Board. The deceased are Navaneet grandson, Yasasri daughter in law, Srinivasulu wife, Jayalakshmi, daughter Rajeswari and son-in law Babu committed suicide while Srinivasulu was away to Railway station on Tuesday. Disturbed financial situation is said to be reason behind the suicide pact.
