YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy meets Dharmendra Pradhan and Arun Jaitely

YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday met the Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gases Dharmendra Pradhan and urged him to take steps for non-repetition of Nagaram GAIL gas leakage incidents.
He said that mere extending compensation is not sufficient and wanted stringent actions. It may be recalled here that as many as 21 persons were killed and 18 were injured in the gas leakage incident on June 27 at Nagaram village at Mamidikuduru mandal.
Seeks extension of Special Status for 15 years:
The YSRCP chief also met the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely and explained him of the new problems the State is facing after the post division of the State. He submitted a memorandum. He appealed him of the problems and the need to have more financial assistance from the Centre. He urged the Union Home Minister to extend the Special Status to at least 15 years.
