'Integrated State is the policy not slogan', says Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy once again reiterated in the Assembly that Integrated State is the policy and not his slogan.

Intervening twice after the CPI MLA Gunda Mallesh who referred to the statements made by him in the past that he would abide by the AICC decision on the division of the State, he said it a matter between him and the AICC high command and did not concern the CPI member. He would explain his stand when he would speak on the bill, he said.

Responding to the CPI member's claim that that the parties are changing their stand for votes and seats, the Chief Minister said that his decision was not linked to votes and seats but relates to the future of the State and the people, he said.

Born and brought up

Kiran Kumar Reddy said that he was born and brought up here and wanted to know whether he described as Telanganite or Andhra Person. Mallesh said that Kiran favoured Telangana in heart but was opposing it as he would have to win seats.
