‘Government prepared to implement loan waiver’, says Pulla Rao

On loan waiver, Minister for Agriculture P Pulla Rao said on Wednesday that the State Government is prepared to implement loan waiver on its own. He said that the government expects the re-scheduling of crop loans to happen.
Speaking to media, he said the government has directed the farmers to repay and avail fresh loans for Kharif as the government would reimburse crop loans up to Rs.1.5 lakh under the scheme.
On nativity, Minister for Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu said that the government would move to Supreme Court against the decision of Telangana government to confine Financial Assistance to Students of Telangana (FAST) only to those parents who were bonafide residents of Telangana State as on November 1, 1956.
