Government appoints P. Venugopal as Advocate General and D.Srinivas as Additional AG

The State Government on Thursday issued orders appointing Parakusam Venugopal as the Advocate General for Andhra Pradesh and Dummalapati Srinivas as the Additional Advocate General.
Venugopal born on November 23, 1954 had his education in Secunderabad and did his law from Osmania University in 1977. He enrolled as Bar Council member and joined as junior advocate at the senior advocate V Ranganathan and worked as Public Prosecutor from 1983 to 1989. He began practicing as an advocate on his own in 1990 and is currently High Court standing council. He worked as vice-president of High Court Bar Council in 2002-03.
D Srinivas who was appointed as Additional AG did his education in Kanchikacharla and did his degree education in Vijayawada. He did his law from Velagapudi Durgamba Siddhartha Law College and registered as member of Bar Council. He worked as Junior with the current Supreme Court Justice NV Ramana and later at senior advocate SR Ashok. He worked as Railway standing council from 1996- 2005 and additional standing council and 2002-2005 and standing council for Municipalities and Panchayat Raj bodies.
