Ganta's son Ravi Teja sent to 14 day judicial custody
March 17, 2014 - Hyderabad
The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport police on Monday registered a case against Ravi Teja, son of former Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and his friend B Inder Tej after they allegedly manhandled a clerk at the RTC counter.
Police said that Ravi Teja and his friend consumed liquor at a bar and went to the airport to see off a friend and later stood near a bus ticket counter. They picked up an argument with the RTC counter clerk when they were asked to move from the place as it obstructed the movement of passengers. The duo allegedly beat him up and damaged the RTC counter.
The RGIA police rushed to the spot and took them into custody. They were produced before a magistrate who sent them to judicial remand.
