‘BJP to launch campaign to take the schemes to the people’, Bandaru Dattatreya
August 18, 2014 - HyderabadNEW DELHI
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national vice president Bandaru Dattatreya said that the party would campaign vigorously about the welfare schemes announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the people.
Bandaru Dattatreya said that the party will take them to the people and educate them how the schemes will be implemented in letter and spirit. He said that the party will prepare a report on how these will be implemented and would be submitted to the Prime Minister.
The national vice-president wanted the Telangana government to take into confidence of the Opposition while announcing welfare schemes and wanted not to use the data collected during Intensive Household survey for black mail purpose. If that happens, it is very dangerous. So the government's intention should be made clear to the public. It is the government's responsibility," the Lok Sabha MP said.
