'Fund for party workers', proposes Nara Lokesh

TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh got special attention at the party's annual conclave 'Mahanadu' where he proposed a special fund for the welfare of party workers.

During his speech at the conference on Wednesday, he said that the party workers had faced several hardships and challenges in the last ten years but stood by the party and underlined that the real strength of the party lies in the party cadre. Lokesh said that the TDP would extend education and health facilities for their families and children of thousands of party workers were being educated free of cost in NTR model school, he said.

Corpus fund of Rs.20 crore announced

In response to the call given by Lokesh, Chandrababu Naidu announced a corpus fund of Rs.20 crore for the welfare and future of the party workers. 'This way, we can repay the debt to the services rendered by the party activists. This opens a new chapter in the history of Telugu Desam', said Naidu.
