- Congress dividing the State for political gains', says TDP MP Sujana Chowdary
Telugu Desam Party MP Yellamanchili Satyanarayana Chowdary (Sujana Chowdary) charged that the Congress is dividing the State for political gains. He said that Congress was hurriedly going ahead with the division process in the back drop of the growing support to the BJP that will hamper Congress prospects in the next general elections.
Sujana Chowdary said that TDP was not opposed for formation of Telangana State but was opposing the manner in which the Congress is going ahead. He said that it had no moral right to seek the passage of the Bill at a time when they are on the edge of out.
Congress had to apologize the entire nation for February 13 incidents in the Parliament for which it is solely responsible, said the MP.
- FIR booked against Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal
SANGAREDDY –A case was filed against MP Lagadapati Rajagopal for using pepper spray in the Parliament. According to Town Circle Inspector, K Vijaya Kumar, Kolcharam Yadagiri has filed a case under 153 and 153(A) of IPC for using pepper spray against Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. He said a FIR was registered in the case.
- Red sanders logs seized
KADAPA-Police intercepted a milk van and seized 90 red sanders logs worth Rs.50 lakh being transported in it near Vibharapuram in Kamalapuram mandal on Sunday. The crew of the milk van fled away and police registered a case.
- Psychopath escapes from police
KADAPA-Kumar, who was arrested after attacking and inflicting injuries on family members while they were trekking to Tirumala on Sunday gave the slip to the police near the main gate of Kadapa Central Prison on Sunday. He allegedly pushed aside the police personnel who were talking to prison officials at the main gate and ran into nearby hubs. Police registered a case and are on hunt for him.
- AAP releases first Lok Sabha contestant list
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday released the first list of contestants for the next Lok Sabha elections.
Kumar Vishwas will contest on Rahu Gandhi from Amethi, Asutosh on Kapil Sibal, Mukul Tripathi on Salman Kharshi, Subash Vade on Suresh Kalmadi, HS Pulka on Manish Tiwari, Anjali Damani on Nitish Gadkari, Baba Haradev on Mulayam Singh Yadav are some of those finalized.
- Suspense still continuous over Chief Minister's resignation.
Minister for Assembly Affairs Dr.S Sailajanath said that the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy will step down from the post immediately and float a new party after a discussion on Telangana Bill in Parliament is initaiated. Congress senior leader Veerasiva Reddy speaking to media confirmed floating of a new party had come up in the discussions, they had with Kiran on Sunday evening.
Kiran Kumar Reddy is likely that he will recommend for President's rule in the State. Ministers TG Venkatesh and Erasu Pratap Reddy too confirmed the outcome. However, finally outcome will come either on Monday or Tuesday.
The meeting that the Chief Minster convened was attended only 25 MLAs and 6 State Cabinet Ministers. The absence of 52 MLAs gives raises some doubts over their continuance with the Chief Minister.
BJP said that the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 has not been introduced. If he resigns now, indications will further strengthen their argument and in the context, Ministers said that he would submit only a discussion is initiated. It is indicated that they waits for a clarification.
- Plane missing with 18 on board
Kathmandu: A Nepal Airlines plane went on missing on Sunday. The incident took place when the plane is on its way from a tourist resort to a town in western Nepal. The plane that took off at 12.40pm was found missing 35 minutes later.

NEW DELHI-APNGOs Association president P Ashok Babu said that no law and order problem will arise out of dharna by Samaikyandhra activists in New Delhi. He said that some elements are floating rumours. He said that it is organized only to explain how Article-3is misutilized, said Ashok Babu.
- Private Travels Bus burnt completely while passengers escape unhurt
KADAPA -Bangalore bound private bus coming from Prottudur was burnt completely while the passenger were escaped unhurt at Gavvalacheruvu in Ramapuram mandal in Kadapa on Saturday midnight.
The ill-fated travels bus belongs to Swarnmukhi Travels in Karnataka on its way dashed a parked two wheeler resulting to emanating of fire. The alerted driver could get the passenger out of the bus while flames spread within no time resulting it completely burnt while the passengers witnessing the scene. Fire tenders could bring the flames under control.Police arrested the driver and are investigating the reasons. The passengers were shifted in another bus.
- 'Congress hatching a plan to stop formation of Telangana State', says BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattatreya
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Bandaru Dattatreya said on Sunday that the Congress is hatching a plan to stop formation of Telangana State. He questioned the party for not suspending the Chief Minster who is acting against the party high command in the issue gives rise to doubts. He wanted a debate on the division issue in the Parliament and added that Telangana state can be formed only by BJP.
- Tension prevails at AP Bhavan
Tension prevailed near AP Bhavan in New Delhi on Sunday with the Telangana JAC activists attempted to burn the effigy of Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal. The attempts were countered by Seemandhra JACs resulting in tension at AP Bhavan.
- 'I will continue in Congress', Minister C Ramachandraiah
Minister for Endowments C Ramachandraiah speaking to press on Sunday said that he will continue in Congress. He said that he is not aware of a floating a new political outfit by Kiran Kumar Reddy. Ramachandraiah faulted Chandrababu Naidu for comparing Sonia Gandhi with Gadse.
- State Government appoints sub-committee to examine payment of IR to contract and outsourcing staff
The State Government on Saturday appointed a Ministers' sub-committee. The committee comprising of Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy, Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, J Geetha Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Pithani Satyanarayana and Kanna Lakshminarayna.
The committee will study the feasibility of paying interim relief to the contract and outsourcing employees in different departments in the Government.
It may be recalled that the demand put forth by the Federation of Contract and Outsourcing employees submitted a memorandum to Chief Secretary PK Mohanty.
- Division Bill not placed in Parliament', says Prakash Karat
Prakash Karat speaking to media on Sunday while condemning the attack on Seemandhra MP said that the Andhra Pradesh division Bill was not introduced in the Parliament.
YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy met CPM national leader Prakash Karat and requested him to support for keeping the State united. Jagan Reddy speaking to media condemn the Centre going ahead with the division process without taking into consideration of the concerns of Seemandhra.
- Discussion needed on Telangana Bill', says Union Minister Jairam Ramesh
Union Minster Jairam Ramesh said that much discussion is required on the most important AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 in the Parliament. He said that the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, AICC president Sonia Gandhi will decide how to take the Bill move forward.
- Five judges transferred
The Andhra Pradesh High Court had transferred five judges working in different courts in the State. Justice N Raghavarao Rao, District and Sessions Judge working as Registrar, Special Court under the AP Land Grabbing (Prohibition Act) Hyderabad was recalled to the AP State Judicial Service and posted as Principal District and sessions Judge, Kadapa. Justice V Appa Rao, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Hindupur was transferred to Srikakulam in the same position.
Judge BS Bhanumati working in Srikakulam was transferred to East Godavari. Judge Golla Sri Devi and Judge Neti Satya Sri both appointed as District Judge were posted as VI ADSJ, Malkapuram and I Additional District Srikakulam respectively.
- Six storeyed Super Speciality Building on KGH premises
Rajya Sabha member T Subbarami Reddy said on Saturday that Public Sector Units entered into MoU with King George Hospital assuring Rs.60 crore out of the Rs.85 crore promised for construction of the six-storeyed super speciality building on the hospital premises.
KGH superintendent M Madhusudhana Babu and General Manager of BHEL HPVP G Uday Kumar exchanged MoU copies on BHEL's donation of Rs.15 crore to KGH. The rest of Rs.25 crores would be received in two to three weeks and construction of the building was expected to commence in a month's time.
The funds would be coming from ONGC, GAIL and BHEL (Rs.15 crores each), Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Rs.10 crore while NTPC, VPT, HPCL and Nuclear Power Corporation would contribute Rs.5 crore each and NMDC has agreed in principle to donate Rs.10 crore.
- Customs officials seize gold worth over Rs.7 lakhs
Customs officials at the Shamshabad Airport on Sunday seized contraband gold worth of Rs.7 lakhs from a passenger arrived from Dubai. The passenger Srinivas arrived by a flight and wondering in the airport premises was searched and seized the contraband gold from him. They took him into custody and interrogating him.

Speaking at Kanyandurgam in Anantapuram at an inaugural function, he said if Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana, TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and its honorary president YS Vijayamma comes on a single platform, the division can be stopped.
It is unfortunate that Naidu who had earlier given letter for untied has taken a U turn. Raghuveera had written letters to all these leaders urging the need to come united at this juncture.

- MP Konakalla Narayana to undergo surgery on February 18
Masulipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana will be undergoing by-pass surgery at Mumbai on February 18.
It may be recalled here that Konakalla Narayana fell down during the session in Lok Sabha on Thursday when the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 was placed and was rushed to RML Hospital and then to Apollo Hospital for immediate medical care in New Delhi. He was again rushed to Mumbai at Asian Institute where tests were conducted and a by-pass surgery will be held on February 18 for cardiac complaint.
- Possible attack in Delhi by Samaikyandhra activists', alleges TJAC Chairman Kodandaram
New DelhiTelangana JAC chairman Prof.Kodandaram alleged that heavy violence is on the cards Samaikyandhra activists in Delhi on Monday and Tuesday. He said that he had intelligence information about it. Speaking to media he along with JAC leader V Srinivasa Goud, G Devi Prasada Rao, K Ravinder Reddy, A Dayakar alleged that they were moving to Delhi in special trains with the help of the Government.
The Telangana leaders demanded the Government not to accord permissions for their protests. They will be complaining to the top police officials on the possible violence. Kodandaram said that they had withdrawn their counter protest scheduled on February 17.
'District is in the fourth place in clearance of cases', says High Court judge G Chandraiah.
High Court judge G Chandraiah speaking at the inauguration of the new court complex buildings of Third Additional District court, Additional Junior Civil Courts on Saturday said that the district stood in fourth place in cases disposal. He said speedy disposal of cases will only be possible with active cooperation of police and petitioners, he said.

'Will continue in Congress ', says Union Minister Panabaka
Terming the last Thursday incident in Parliament as unfortunate, Union Minister Panabaka Lakshmi said that she will continue in Congress even after the State is bifurcated.
