Dowry harassment case slapped against tollywood actress Ramba

A dowry harassment case has been registered against cine actress Raba, her brother and parents at Banjara Hill Police Station.
According to police, Ramba brother Srinivasarao got married to Pallavi in 1999 and amounts were paid to them as part of marriage agreement. She alleged that Ramba along with his brother and parents are harassing her for more dowries. She knocked the doors of the court and following directions, police registered a case and are investigating.
Cine actor Ramba’s brother condemns:
Cine actress Ramba’s brother Srinivas condemned that his wife filed a fake case against his family members. He said that Pallavi left on February 3 from Chennai along with diamonds and children, her father filed a case on February 4 in Chennai. On knowing this,’ I came to India from Toronto in Canada on February 12. Now she has lodged the fake case of anti-dowry case to avoid a theft case’, he said.
Srinivas said that he filed a quash petition in Hyderabad High Court that ordered the police not to arrest him in the instant case. He said that at the time of marriage Pallavi and her parents were staying in a rented house and questioned how they got all the properties of a Bungalow and three plots. He said that he will cooperate with the police in the process of investigation but appealed not to misutilise sec.498 A.
Case booked only court directives:
The West Zone DCP Satyanarayana said that they have booked a case under the directions of the court. He said that the police will send notices to them shortly and take up their statements. He said that the case was registered against Ramba, her brother and husband of Pallavi, Srinivas, his mother Usha Rani and father Venkateswara Rao.
