Delegation meets Naidu urging to make Kurnool a Smart City


August 12, 2014 - Hyderabad

The Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murty on Monday led a delegation of leaders from Kurnool to the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu urging it to make a Smart City.

The delegation put forth proposals to the Chief Minister of creating IIIT, Solar Park, Mini-airport at Kurnool, making Nandayal as seed development hub, inclusion of Kurnool in Chennai-Bangalore Industrial corridor, Krishna river Board at Kurnool, Cancer hospital, mining college at Dhone, Owk reservoir as tourist spot, cricket stadium, Urdu university and quick completion of rail coach unit, Kurnool-Chitoor two lane highway.

The delegation included former Minister TG Venkatesh, MP SPY Reddy, MLAs Janardhan Reddy and Jayanageswar Reddy, Shilpa Mohan Reddy among others.
