January 13, 2014 - Nalgonda
Congress workers of two rival groups clashed in the presence of AICC observer Sevak Waghe during a block level constitution of the party at Bhuvanagiri in Nalgonda district on Monday.
Police have to use mild force to disperse the clashing groups of MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and MP Rajagopal Reddy and two police constables sustained injuries.
The clash sparked off when Suryapet MLA R Damodar Reddy complained to the AICC observer stating that the block level leaders were unable to express their opinion freely as Rajagopal Reddy was camping in the R&B guest house, where the meeting was being held. The miscreants throw stones at Damodar Reddy after Rajagopal Reddy came out of the guest house that resulted in another bout of group clash and the two sides resorted to stone pelting on each other.
