'Committee for radical changes in Education system', says Ganta Srinivasa Rao

Human Resources Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that a committee would be formed to bring radical changes in the present educational system.
Speaking to media on Friday in Visakhapatnam, he said that the committee would consist of retired Vice-chancellors, eminent personalities in educational field and orders would be issued shortly for formation of committee and its guidelines. The Government would take a final decision based on their report.
The HRD Minister said that efforts would be made that government schools should be with at par with corporate educational institutions. He opined that fee regulation is required on private school managements. He added that government is striving hard to bring 11 international universities. We will request the Centre to allot some seats in IIT and IIM for the State government', said Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
