‘10,000 tablets to State Officers for better administration’, says Naidu

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced at the Collectors meeting here on Thursday that the State Government is thinking of to distribute 10,000 tablet PCs to important officers for better coordination and administration.
The Collectors, who work at the ground level have to implement the policies adopted by the government properly only then, the people will allow the government to continue in the officer after five years’, said Chandrababu Naidu.
The Chief Minister said that the government would extend all the support needed to the officials for the sake of transparency and better coordination and emphasized the need of usage of Information and Technology. He said that during the last ten years, several officers had yielded to the government’s pressure, spoiling their careers. This has demoralized the administration. I shall offer support to you if you work with dedication and honesty’, he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murty in his address asked the District Collectors to identify vacant government lands. He wanted them to use advanced technology like GPS application in the survey of lands.
