Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy speaks to press on division of the State

Speaking to media on Sunday, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said that not even a single State was formed without a resolution of any Assembly. This is the first press meet after moving the reject motion on the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 in the Assembly. He appealed both the TDP and YSRCP to come forward united as was done at the time of moving reject move to keep the State united.
Stating that the 'reject motion' is an important and powerful weapon to keep the State united, 'if they (Digvijay or KCR) feel it is equivalent to a paper', why they are fearing, questioned Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Chief Minister said that expressing opinion means expressing through a move or a resolution. Kiran said that 80 per cent of the decision will be done on the basis of voice vote.
He said that all the Seemandhra leaders beyond party lines are united and hoped that the President would take into consider of the reject resolution. 'I have given promise to defeat the Bill and did it by moving a 'reject motion'', he said.
