Chief Minister's press conference on Assembly proceedings

Speaking to media on Wednesday in the camp office, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy asked the members to utilise the time in the Assembly in airing the benefits in keeping the State united. He said that 'Samaikyandhra' is not our slogan but our principle.
Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the Congress party has taken the decision of bifurcation only after series of dialogues with all the parties. We are acting according to the wishes of the people. Kiran Kumar Reddy said if the members' opinion will not be taken into consideration, why the Bill is referred to the Assembly? he questioned. He clarified that the members' opinion will be forward to the President.
He said that YSRCP has burnt their hands by putting their hands in the recently held APNGOs elections. He questioned the rationale of their involvement in the NGOs elections only because they are fighting for the United State, he questioned. If there is no debate on the AP State Reorganization Bill, 2013, it means that we have accepted. He said that there are no instances of bifurcation of States when divergent opinions prevail.
He asked the YSRCP and TDP to spell out their stand on the unified State.' I will tell my stand in the Assembly', said Kiran Kumar Reddy.
