Chandrababu Naidu oath taking ceremony


June 8, 2014 - Hyderabad

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh post bifurcation. He along with his cabinet of ministers took oath of office and secretary at a ceremony that is attended by a galaxy of personalities. Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Naidu. The public function is held at Nagarjuna Nagar between Vijayawada and Guntur. Chandrababu Naidu has personally telephoned the ministers who took oath today in the morning. Family members of both Chandrababu Naidu and TDP founder NT Rama Rao were present.

Traffic Jams

Heavy traffic jams is posing troubles to TDP party workers and activists who are attempting to reach the venue. Even though a large number of TDP party workers have already reached the venue, more number of party workers are expected to join as the time for the swearing in is getting close.

Several Dignitaries to attend

A host of dignitaries and personalities, including 15 Union Ministers and six Chief Ministers of various States are expected to attend the swearing in ceremony. National BJP leaders including LK Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi, Chief Ministers of Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Punjab and Goa are also expected to be attend.
