Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu meets Governor seeks intervention in EAMCET counselling

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday met the Governor ESL Narasimhan along with HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and sought his intervention in the conduct of EAMCET counselling.
Chandrababu Naidu handed over a copy of the letter he addressed to his Telangana counterpart on the issue. He stated in his letter of the AP State Reorganization Bill in which the counselling for professional courses have to be done in both the States on combined way. He said that due to delay in the process by Telangana counterpart, the students are forced to go to other States and the parents are put too much hardships and tensions.
The Chief Minister stated in his letter that he did not get response from the Telangana counterpart for his letter. He wanted the Governor to speak with Telangana government and see that the counselling is held at the earliest possible time.
Responding over the letter, the Governor directed the Chairman of State Council for Higher Education to submit a report on the issue.
